The responsibilities an SDET has typically consist of designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. Basically, the tools, and test suites for testing software applications.  The role of an SDET involves writing code to automate testing processes, creating and executing test cases, and analyzing test results. So, it identifies and reports software defects, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
